By downloading, installing, or using ViseoTape, you agree to these terms and conditions. If you don't agree with any part of them, please don't use the app.
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use ViseoTape on devices you own or control, for personal or professional video making. This license is subject to these terms and to the terms of Google Play, where you bought the app.
When using ViseoTape, please don't:
Any recordings and converted videos you make in ViseoTape are entirely yours. Because the app has no account system and never uploads your content, we never receive, view, or store copies of it. It exists only on your device, and wherever you personally choose to share it.
You're responsible for having the necessary rights to any video you import, for getting any consent the law requires before you record other people, and for keeping your own backups. See our privacy policy for more on how your data is (and isn't) handled.
ViseoTape runs a quick check with Google Play to confirm your purchase is valid. If Google Play reports that your account no longer owns the app, for example after a refund, your licence ends and the app is locked until the purchase is restored. Recordings you made stay on your device. If the check can't be completed (for instance, you are offline or the service is unavailable), the app keeps working. See our privacy policy for what the check involves.
The ViseoTape name, its interface design, its VHS shader and its synthesized sounds belong to its developer. These terms don't transfer any ownership of that intellectual property to you. They simply let you use the app as intended.
Android phones differ widely, and camera systems behave differently from one another. We can't guarantee that ViseoTape will look or perform identically on every device, camera or Android version.
ViseoTape is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. We don't guarantee the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every device or operating system version.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the developer of ViseoTape is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including, without limitation, loss of recordings or videos. Please back up any footage you care about. Nothing here limits any statutory rights you may have under the law that applies to you.
We may update ViseoTape and these terms from time to time as the app grows. When we make material changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of ViseoTape at any time. You're free to stop using the app and uninstall it whenever you like, no strings attached.
